The leading annual military conference, MIC, is set for a record-breaking year

Las Vegas is home to the Military Influencer Conference (MIC), a three day event that brings innovators, entrepreneurs, and influential veteran community members together. Last year’s event brought in over 1,200 attendees, with more anticipated for this year.

Marine veteran Martha MacPhee has been working in event planning for nearly ten years. She is an expert in military and veteran events and protocol and is pursuing her Masters’s degree in Global communication from The American University of Paris. She has planned and participated in many influential events, such as military operations and security for the 58th Presidential Inauguration in 2017 and the WW1 DC memorial groundbreaking and dedication.

MacPhee is the event director of MIC and is excited about the event’s growth and mission. “It’s been growing. We’re in the sixth year this year. It kind of grew something with a couple 100 people to now we’re expecting over 2000 people in Las Vegas this year,” MacPhee stated.

The conference will host exhibitors, speakers, panel discussions, networking mixers, and more. “There’s a lot of different things going on, a lot of different exchanges. We have booths and lounges and we try to have a lot of cool things going on at one time,” MacPhee explained.

This year’s conference is hosted at Resorts World November 7-10 and is open to anyone interested in the military and veteran community. Tickets for the event can be bought now through the MIC website and Eventbrite. Those interested can purchase tickets for the weekend, as well as attend the gala and concert hosted by the conference.
